Hi Pretty Adic
There were three reasons why I invested $50,000 to join Daymond John's Mastermind.
1️⃣ The relationships.
2️⃣ The marketing opportunities.
3️⃣ The opportunity to do business with Daymond himself.
All three paid off.
One of the first things I realized was that Daymond is actually nothing like the person you see on TV. Honestly, that was a relief.
I've never been a fan of the Corporate America mentality where everything has to be perfectly polished and scripted.
Real entrepreneurs don't operate that way.
I've been fortunate enough to spend time with billionaires, highly successful entrepreneurs and industry leaders. I also partnered with another Shark back in 2018.
One thing they all have in common... They think differently.
They don't spend their time worrying about small problems.
They focus on solving big problems.
They look for leverage instead of working longer hours.
They understand the value of building systems, brands, recurring revenue and strategic partnerships.
Most importantly, they understand that relationships are one of the most valuable assets you can own.
The right introduction can save you years.
The right partnership can create millions of dollars in opportunity.
The right mentor can help you avoid mistakes that would have cost you both time and money.
Another lesson I learned is that successful people move fast.
They make decisions. They test ideas.
If something doesn't work, they adjust and move on.
They don't spend months overthinking every opportunity.
One of the biggest surprises was realizing that even billionaires have problems.
The difference is the size of the problems they're solving.
Instead of worrying about paying bills, they're thinking about scaling companies, building teams, protecting their reputation, acquiring businesses and creating long term wealth.
Perhaps the biggest lesson of all... It is incredibly difficult to find the right people.
People you can trust. People who do what they say they're going to do.
People who genuinely want to see everyone succeed.
There is so much noise in the business world.
Too many people overpromise. Too many people underdeliver.
I've been on the wrong end of those situations more times than I'd like to admit.
That's why I keep my circle small.
I don't hand out trust easily and I do my best to build businesses that don't depend on anyone.
The right relationships are priceless. The wrong relationships can cost you years.
That's exactly why I continue investing in masterminds and why we host our own events.
The goal isn't to impress people.
The goal is to surround yourself with people who challenge you to think bigger, execute faster, build smarter businesses and create opportunities that simply wouldn't exist if you stayed in the same room with the same people.
Sometimes the best investment you can make isn't in another piece of software or another marketing campaign.
It's investing in the right room.
